Prepare for Surgery
prepare for healing
It doesn’t matter whether you've been told you have to have surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, you’re suddenly flooded with anxiety and concern over what's next. You can’t think. You can’t sleep. You feel helpless. That's the way it was for me.
What if there was a way to reduce your stress and improve your recovery time? Feel more in control and part of the process? Be less irritated and more focused so you can absorb important information? Prepare for Surgery sessions are proven to reduce your stress and allow you to heal faster.
Imagine helping your body do what it was designed to do, only faster.
Preparing for Surgery
doesn't mean you have to go it alone.
Preparing for Surgery, Chemotherapy or Radiation
Whether you’re facing, Chemotherapy, Radiation or Surgery, Prepare for Surgery Sessions will help -
- Reduce pain medication
- Create calmness during treatment
- Improve appetite
- Increase energy after treatment
- Create a deeper sense of well-being
Sessions can take place in person, over the phone or on Skype and last approximately 1.15 hours.
You’ll receive a copy of the book, Prepare for Surgery, Heal FasterTM by Peggy Huddleston and the accompanying CD for use during your surgery.
In studies, patients reported
less anxiety before surgery
Faster recovery time
leaving the hospital 1.6 days sooner
up to 60% less pain medication
Patients also have indicated that they were significantly less irritable with fewer reports of insomnia.
"I work with surgery patients and cancer patients and teach you how to get to that peaceful state of mind –
so that you can heal and get back to life."
Using creator Peggy Huddleston’s process, during our Prepare for Surgery Session, I’ll guide you through a process using visualizations and meditations that will shift you from a state of fear and uneasiness into a state of peace. A state of well-being.
*Prepare for Surgery sessions are currently sponsored through Renown Hospital, Northern Nevada Medical Center and My Women's Center - Beth Hutson, M.D.
